Otomate's LibraryCross∞ Game Ends Service in January

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Game launched in January after TV anime announced in 2017

The official website for Otomate and Wright Flyer Studios' LibraryCross∞ (Library Cross Infinite) smartphone game announced on Monday that the game will end service on January 8. The game also halted purchases of in-game currency on Monday. The game will begin offering refunds to players with unused in-game currency on January 8.

The game launched for iOS and Android devices on January 25. Otomate announced in September 2017 that the game had a television anime adaptation in the works.

Otomate, a brand for romance games aimed at female players, is collaborating with Wright Flyer Studios on the "love-to-infinity puzzle role-playing game." In the game, a medical student named Shiina and nine male partners are trapped in a certain dimensional realm with many ancient texts and an enormous mysterious clock. Together, they must find a way to escape by uncovering clues before the clock strikes "13."

Players also encounter characters from other Otomate games such as Hakuōki, Amnesia, Norn9, and Yunohana Spring! in the app. The game is free to play with in-game item purchases. Illustrator miko (Code:Realize, Sengoku Night Blood) is supervising the character designs.
