2019 Doraemon Film Gets Switch Game in February

FuRyu publishes adventure game based on franchise's 39th film

The December issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine revealed on Thursday that Eiga Doraemon no Nobita no Getsumen Tansaki (Doraemon the Movie: Chronicle of the Moon Exploration), the Doraemon franchise's 39th film, will receive an adventure game for the Nintendo Switch. FuRyu will publish the game, and will ship the game in Japan on February 28.

The film will open in Japan on March 1.

Shinnosuke Yakuwa (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita in the New Haunts of Evil - Peko and the Five Explore) is directing the film, which will be his first work directing from an original script. Naoki Prize-winning mystery author Midzuki Tsujimura (Tsunagu, Kagami no Kojō) is writing the script, and she is also writing a novel adaptation, which will debut on Friday. Dai Hirai is performing the theme song "The Gift."
