Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution Film Listed for December 3 Release in India

The film opened in Japan on September 19 and debuted at #1 in its opening weekend, replacing the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle - Akaza Sairai film, which had topped the box office for nine straight weeks. The film sold 807,000 tickets for 1,251,178,500 yen (about US$8.46 million) in its opening weekend.
The film, known as Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins in Japan, is a compilation of the second season's "Shibuya Incident," along with the first two episodes of the third season (before the season premieres in January).
The third season will premiere in Japan in January 2026.
The Jujutsu Kaisen television anime premiered in October 2020, and it had 24 episodes. Netflix is streaming the season in India. Ani-One began streaming all episodes of the season in India in June 2023. Anime Times began streaming the season in India in July 2024. 'Sony YAY!' began airing the season on Indian television on April 7.
The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film opened in Japan in December 2021 and opened in India in June 2022. It crossed ₹5.4 crore (approximately US$681,629) in earnings in its first weekend. Amazon Prime Video added the anime film in India in December 2022 and Crunchyroll added it in India in February 2023.
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered on July 2023 on MBS and TBS and 28 affiliated channels. Netflix streamed the anime season in India as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime in India. Crunchyroll began streaming the Tamil and Hindi dubs for the season in September 2023.
The second season aired for two cours (quarters of a year) for a continuous half-year run. The anime adapts both the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" ("Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu") arc and the "Shibuya Incident" arc of Gege Akutami 's original manga. The "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc aired from July-August 2023. The "Shibuya Incident" arc started at the end of August 2023 and consisted of 18 episodes.
Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018, and ended it in September 2024. Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally and in print, and Shueisha is also publishing the manga digitally on its MANGA Plus service.
