The City of Fremont will be hosting its annual Holiday Anime Faire on Saturday December 6, 2008. Join us for a fun day of activities for the entire family who love to create and view anime and manga.
Come shop for that perfect anime gift, create your own anime art and craft, or meet with artists.
Exhibitors include Animie 101, Anime Palace, Anime V, Collectors Universe and Anime and more! More are added each week. Items for sale can include Anime books and magazines, plush toys, figurines and much more!
Enjoy other great activities such as creating your own holiday ornament or trying your hand at origami, viewing the latest anime videos and meeting Anime artists. Artists confirmed for this event are PMBQ of Tea Club, Karen Luk, Ian Sy, Alfred Twu and more.
Tickets are five dollars and include a goody bag and two activity tickets. (Additional activity tickets will be sold at the event.) Manga START classes will be offered at 11 a.m and 1 p.m, tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door. This course will give you the basic skills to begin drawing manga.
