Matsuricon Announces The First of Several Guests for 2014

COLUMBUS, OHIO December 27th, 2013 - Matsuricon is pleased to announce Danielle McRae and Lauren Landa for our 2014 event. This will be Danielle's first appearance at Matsuricon.

Danielle McRae is a voice over actress residing in Los Angeles, California. Being a huge fan of video games and anime, her passion has led her to pursue a voice acting career in the industry. Some of her most notable credits have been in League of Legends as Karma the Enlightened One, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm as Hagara the Stormbinder, and “Painwheel” in the Popular 2D fighting game, Skullgirls! Danielle can also be heard in Sword Art Online, Planetside 2, Heroes of Newerth, StarCraft Universe, Battle High 2, Dragon Nest, Just Dance for Kids 2014 and more! She also has quite a few new projects that will coming out in 2014 that she cannot wait to talk about!

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lauren Landa first began acting at the age of 11 in the stage production of Annie, and continued with shows including; Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie, and Comic Potential, as well as being Assistant Director for stage productions such as:Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, Batboy the Musical, and the Greek comedy, Lysistrata. Within that World behind the Mic: As a Voice over Actress, she is most known for roles such as Kasumi in “Dead or Alive 5, Litchi Faye Ling in the popular fighting games “BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger” as well as the sequels “BlazBlue: Continuum Shift”, and “Continuum Shift Extend”, Kyoko Sakura in “Madoka Magica”, Yan Leixia in “Soul Calibur V”, Little Queen in “Tales of Graces”, Boiboi in “REDLINE”, Squigly in "Skullgirls", Leia in "Tales of Xillia", and Chubo Sonken in "Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians"!

Our online Pre-Registration is up and running! Attendees can purchase passes at the $30 pre-registration rate until January 7th, 2014.
