AnimeJapan 2015 Draws Over 120,000 Visitors

In Tokyo Big Sight from March 20th to 22nd, AnimeJapan Executive Committee held AnimeJapan 2015, the largest anime festival in Japan. The overall number of visitors has surpassed the original estimate of 120,000 and the event has ended as a great success. We truly appreciate your visit.

Business visitors: 2,500 (Including from overseas)
Press: 659 organizations (574 Japanese / 85 foreign)
We are seeking for our path to create more appealing anime event. Thus, we are holding AnimeJapan 2016 in Tokyo Big Sight next year, from March 25th to March 27th.
Statement from AnimeJapan Executive Committee
It is our pleasure to announce that AnimeJapan has ended successfully. There were more than 120,000 audiences and we are grateful with their participation. With the new encounters and discoveries we offered during the event, we would appreciate if this festival could send you our message to be in love with anime more.
In order to pursue our goal to become the world's greatest anime event, we'd like to announce the AnimeJapan 2016 from March 25th (Fri) to 27th (Sun) at Tokyo Big Sight.
Again, many thanks to all those involved in AnimeJapan 2015 and wish all anime with the brightest future.
