Disney+ Docuseries Coming in 2026!

TOKYO - February 16, 2026 - Tokyo-based seven-member pop and dance group Travis Japan return today with their new single “KAGENIMO-HINATANIMO,” out now on digital platforms. The track serves as the featured song for TV Asahi's Oshidora Saturday drama Zenbu, Anata no Tame Dakara, which began airing January 10 and stars Travis Japan member Shime.

Based on the novel by Eiji Natsubara, the drama unfolds as a psychological mystery set against the backdrop of a wedding reception disrupted by an attempted poisoning. In the series, Shime portrays a wedding photographer who teams up with the groom to uncover the truth behind the incident, gradually revealing the hidden sides and hypocrisies of those involved.

“KAGENIMO-HINATANIMO” mirrors the drama's tension and emotional complexity through its cool, fast-paced production and driving beat. Built around themes of “light and shadow” and “front and back,” the song explores the duality within people - the contrast between outward appearances and concealed truths. Calm yet self-assured, with a subtle edge of allure, the track pulls listeners deeper with each listen.

Earlier this month, Travis Japan released Say I do / Tokyo Crazy Night [Special Edition] (February 2), a refreshed version of last year's single re-recorded with all seven members following Noel's return from hiatus. The Special Edition also makes four tracks - previously available only on the physical CD - accessible digitally for the first time. The group is spotlighting “O-Shan-Tee,” a playful, 90s-inspired para para anthem that has quickly become a fan favorite and a standout moment on their current nationwide arena tour. LISTEN HERE

The new releases arrive as Travis Japan continue a prolific period following the December release of their third studio album 's travelers. Produced by member Machu (Kaito Matsukura), the album introduced an imaginative, time-traveling concept framed by a strawberry-shaped spaceship motif. Musically, 's travelers moves fluidly across decades, reinterpreting disco, R&B, hip-hop, 80's pop, and modern pop through the group's energetic and joyful performance style, further cementing their identity as versatile, genre-spanning entertainers.

Beyond music, Travis Japan are also expanding their global footprint on screen. The group recently announced Travis Japan: Summer Vacation!! In The USA, an upcoming Disney+ docuseries debuting later this year. Filmed across ten days immediately following their U.S. tour dates, the series follows the seven members as they travel from Arches National Park to Durango, Monument Valley, Sedona, and beyond. Members Genta Matsuda and Umi (Kaito Nakamura) - who have voiced characters in the Japanese versions of Mufasa: The Lion King and Lilo & Stitch, respectively - appeared at Disney's APAC Showcase in Hong Kong to unveil the project, sharing, “People always wonder how we're so close, but I hope they can see that in the show.”

Travis Japan have also returned to the road for their third nationwide arena tour, Travis Japan Concert Tour 2026 's travelers, bringing their high-impact live performances to audiences across Japan in support of the album. With more activity planned throughout 2026, the group's momentum - both at home and internationally - shows no signs of slowing.

“KAGENIMO-HINATANIMO” is available now on all digital platforms.
The physical single will be released April 15, 2026.

ABOUT TRAVIS JAPAN
Travis Japan is a dynamic seven-member dance and pop sensation from Tokyo, blending modern, jazz, and hip-hop into electrifying performances. Formed in 2012 with guidance from legendary choreographer Travis Payne (known for his work with Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga), the group has risen to acclaim in Japan and beyond. They've headlined their annual Japanesque spectacle TORA JA -NINJAPAN- and sold out three consecutive shows at Yokohama Arena (17,000 capacity) in 2020, followed by a 12-city national tour in 2021.

Their precision-driven choreography and infectious pop sound caught global attention with appearances on World of Dance and America's Got Talent, leading to a 2022 signing with Capitol Records/UMG. Their debut single, “JUST DANCE!”, made history as the first by a Japanese act to crack the Top 5 on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. chart, surpassing 10 million views and signaling their arrival on the world stage.

In 2023, their debut album Road To - symbolizing their quest for authenticity - solidified their artistic identity and marked the first of three consecutive No.1 albums on Billboard JAPAN's “Top Albums Sales,” “Hot Albums,” and “Download Albums” charts. By 2024, singles “T.G.I. Friday Night” and “Sweetest Tune” dominated Billboard Japan's charts, both hitting No.1 on the Download Songs chart and No.2 on the HOT 100. That same year, they embarked on their “Road to Authenticity” nationwide arena tour and launched a sold-out six-city world tour, cementing their growing international reach.

In December 2024, they released their sophomore album VIIsual, featuring their 2024 chart-toppers alongside the bold single “BO$$Y.” Continuing their momentum into 2025, Travis Japan achieved their first physical CD single with “Say I do / Tokyo Crazy Night” in March, which debuted at No.1 on Billboard JAPAN's “Top Singles Sales” chart. In June 2025, they brought their signature energy to Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch, performing the Japanese version of the film's end song, “Burning Love.”

The summer of 2025 saw the group embark on their second world tour in support of VIIsual, visiting five cities and delivering a special guest performance at World of Dance, further strengthening their global presence. In December 2025, they released their third album, 's travelers, which debuted at No.1 across Billboard JAPAN's “Top Albums Sales,” “Hot Albums,” and “Download Albums” charts - marking their third consecutive studio album to achieve this triple No.1 distinction since debut.

Currently, Travis Japan is on the road for a nationwide arena tour across Japan in support of 's travelers, visiting eight cities for 30 sold-out shows and drawing an expected total of 330,000 attendees. With record-breaking releases, high-profile global collaborations, and arena-filling tours, Travis Japan continues to redefine J-pop on an international scale with boundary-pushing performances and undeniable star power.
