Gad Guard (TV) Very good This is undoubtedly the best neo-retro giant robot show that I've seen ever since Giant Robo started the movement in 1992. Excellence oozes from the screen.
Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo (TV) Masterpiece Revolutionary animation style that exceeded my greatest expectations and the magnificent plot of The Count of Monte Cristo to tie it together. Not to mention Gonzo's signature genius.

GUNxSWORD (TV) Good Surprisingly good considering the exceedingly cliched plot.
.hack//Liminality (OAV) Very good More character-driven than .hack//SIGN and focuses less on the action and fantasy of The World, but it's simply too short.

Inuyasha (TV) Very good Has anyone not seen this series?
InuYasha: The Tragic Love Song of Destiny (special) Good Just a recap of the relationship between Inu Yasha and Kikyo, nothing special
(The) Irresponsible Captain Tylor (TV) Very good I've only seen one episode, but it was immensely entertaining.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (OAV) Very good Despite some exceedingly cliche elements, the animation is superb, the story and characters are fun, and the references and inside jokes are in and of themselves worth at least one viewing.
Kamichu! (TV) Very good Uniquely quirky and charming, this is innocence at its very best.
Love Hina (TV) Very good The obligatory harem show, it is frivolous and ridiculous; but entertaining nonetheless.
Lupin III: Part II (TV) Very good A good show, but it definitely wouldn't have been my first choice of Lupin licenses.
Lupin III: Secret Files (OAV) Good Not a great anime in and of itself, but its nice to see where it all started.

Pilot Candidate (TV) Good A forgettable sci fi series which innovations in CG as its greatest merit.
Please Twins! (TV) Excellent I've only seen two episodes, and they were not the first two, but it was very funny and even heartwarming at times. Very promising.

Ranma ½ (TV) Excellent Classic for a reason; perfect blend of romance, action, and comedy.
S-CRY-ed (TV) Very good If you took everything that has ever made X-Men popular, boiled it down into its purest form, and set it in post-apocalyptic Japan you would have s-CRY-ed.
Saiyuki (TV) Decent An interesting and action-packed take on the Journey to the West legend. I could do without the bishonen.
