Seen some Rating Comment
Banner of the Stars (TV) Very good I've seen parts of series maybe 5 years ago dubbed. It was pretty good and I do plan on finishing the rest in the near future. Can't recommend it yet though.
Banner of the Stars II (TV) Very good (Comment same as Banner of the Stars I.)
Betterman (TV) Very good (Comment same as Banner of the Stars I & II)
Blue Comet SPT Layzner (TV) Excellent I have only seen the first episode of this series but I can say that this series is really a buried anime gem. I recommend it to anyone who is a real-robot mecha fan or if you're a fan of classic anime in general.
Crest of the Stars (TV) Good (Comment same as Banner of the Stars.)
F-Zero Falcon Densetsu (TV) So-so
Geneshaft (TV) Good
Inuyasha (TV) Decent
One Piece (TV 1999) Worst ever (edit.dub), Good (dub), Excellent (sub) I can some up what I think about all the versions of this series I've seen in few words or less. 4kids' dub: Worst Anime Dub EVER!!! This is so bad it makes Battle of the Planets, Star Blazers, and Robotech seem like unedited dubs with good voice acting. Please, if you read this avoid it. Funi's dub: More along the lines of a typical anime dub. However, sometimes it sounds more along the lines of DBZ. I don't know how accurate the episodes are compared to the Japanese version but they're much more accurate than 4Kids' dub. The original BGM is retained and it is promised to be 100% uncut. I say that it's good but the sub version's still better. Subbed: An amazing series. I first doubted even watching this because I had the 4kids' one stuck in my mind. However the subbed version is much, much, much, much, much, better. It's more like an actual Shounen anime series. I'm starting to fall in love with this series because it's so great. Even though I'm still very early into the series I still love it.
Shin chan (TV) Decent This series I thought was ok in Japanese but when Funimation decided to dub it, well I'll explain. So Funimation's dub of this show tries to "Americanize" Crayon Shin-Chan by essentially creating their own storyline and jokes for the TV series. Now the jokes in Funimation's version are funny, however, when there is some sort of American reference the show goes from being funny to stupid in an instant. They try so hard to make this appeal to a wider audience so hard that it takes away the fact that their American pop culture jokes are not funny in the least bit. So I can recommend this with caution. Like if you don't like clearly Japanese anime in a clearly Japanese setting littered with American jokes and cultural references.
