Ok I have only seen Wing and 2 episodes of seed but the question I have is From seeing pics of other gundame series is why is there always some guy with a mask on?

Well It all started in Mobile Suit Gundam. A man named Char Aznable wore that mask to hide his identity. Zechs also wore the mask for that reason.
As for the person in Gundam Seed, I wouldn't know why he wears it but sadly it seems that the "white mask" has turned into a mere marketing trick to get people to watch Gundam now. 
I really wish Char would have been the only one with the mask and maybe maybe Zechs since he does have a good reason to be wearing it. But as for this guy in Seed, I just dont know. |

The reason of the masked person in gundam series is for revenge on one side or to protect someone.
EX: Char: Revenge against the Zabis for killing his family. Quattro/Char: Revenge against the Federation and Haman Khan. Zechs: Revenge against the Earth Alliance for the destruction of the Sanch Kingdom. Schwarz Bruder: to protect his younger brother Raul La Kruze: Revenge against Humanity for bringing him into the world and his disease. There is alot more masked people i just can't rember at this time. |

When you write Quattro, I thought he didn't wear the mask under the alias of Quattro Bageena or pretty much after Zeta. He wore the glasses, right?
I think that's a little rude. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on Gundam. I'm not trying to pick a fight, but that was derogatory and not needed. You could have easily put a better reason for not wanting the threads without insulting nearly the entire Gundam community. 
Although it is a bit sad the Gundam community basically consists of those 2 groups.  Where's the unity?

Those glasses were big & tacky enough to count as a mask. Same with the guy in Turn-A.

Thats the one thing i hate about the gundam community is the infighting between the UC and AU fans leaving the neuts. out in the cold. But back on topic you can hang xmas light on those shades.
