I'm Really loving Blue Exorcist. Although it may seem a bit generic SO FAR, The soundtrack is amazing, the animation quality is top notch, the voice actors fit their characters excellently and the characters are entertaining.

In keeping with the rules and standards of ANN, could you please provide something more substantial in your posts? Instead of merely name-dropping, take the time to explain why you like these titles for the sake of generating real, relevant discussion.

I will allow twenty-four hours from the time stamp of this post for you two to edit your responses and provide reasoning behind your choices, else the thread will be locked.

1. Tiger and Bunny is a great series this season because I love it's original concept. Living in our current media driven society especially concerning reality television what if the heroic deeds of superheroes where not only used to maintain the peace but to also boost ratings. Presenting a minority group that protects the populace while at the same time worrying about their ratings, hence their jobs makes for a very interesting concept. It also acts as some very effective social commentary. Not to mention that the head duo also acts as a spoof of the buddy cop genre in a sense. At least that is what I got out of it.

2. Ao Exorcist is albeit generic but visually it is worth a look and I personally am enjoying it for it's rough yet likable main lead.

3. Hanasaku Iroha is also well written which has already become one of my favorite slice of life anime out there.

4. Since I have been regularly keeping up with the Deadman Wonderland manga, I find the series a excellent adaptation. Sticking to the source material perfectly. So far.

I couldn't really accurately say until the shows have all finished their runs. But, so far it's probably Hanasaku Iroha or Cardfight!! Vanguard.

Many shows in this seasons are not very attractive to me, so it is a good thing that I am more freely this time.

For my favorites, they are absolutely Hanasaku Iroha and Tiger & Bunny.

Little Box Fighter is also very good.

For me it's Happy Kappy. Not just can I vouch for it, but 52% of the "people" who took this poll also agree.

If you asked me a week ago I would have said Tiger and Bunny, but having seen the first two episodes of Deadman Wonderland I have to change my answer.

I haven't seen an anime series that ramped up with tension and excitement this quickly in years, and certainly not one that managed to keep the momentum going into the second episode. Granted, it's about as subtle as a nuclear warhead, but sometimes that's not always a bad thing. I'll be watching this to the end.

I'm really loving the new Saint Seiya Series, even though its a continuation from last year I just started watching when Crunchyroll got it. It's Typical Shonen fun without all the annoying stuff i hate about anime.

Also Toriko is just amazing! I love it pure randomness and complete and utter over the top crazyness. It's as If Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star and Goku from BDZ had a love child and made Toriko.

Tiger and Bunny I'm really starting to get into now. I watched the 1st episode about a week ago and just hated it. Then last night I gave it another chance. I really did not like the 1st episode but after that I really started to get into it a lot more. This show has a lot of potential and having fun watching it now.

Also, Deadman Wonderlad I was expecting it to be much more brutal and violent( from what I have heard from those who read the manga) but it's still early. This show has a lot of potential to be really good or just another medicore show for me.

Cue evil laugh as egoist considers all the people that download Happy Kappy based on this recommendation and poll.

First impression:
Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san (TV) It's a wicked and funny short show. But I don't know if it will hold up.

In the longer run I think Hanasaku Iroha, Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko or AnoHana might persevere to be my favorites at the end of the season.

I might go into more detail if I had any confidence that this thread won't be locked. I might have even spent too long writing this and it'll be locked before I can hit submit.

Hmm pretty tough question, i'm finding this season better than average. Personally i believe the best are

Denpa Onna - I'm feeling a similar vibe of this as from Arakawa Under the Bridge, and i looked it up and it seems the same company's worked on both of them.
Ano Hana - Very interesting, hard to say if this is gonna be a favorite, that depends on how the story plays.
Hanasaku Iroha - Good first impression, ep 3 was a score reducer, but ep4 made up for it again, so same as above, it depends on the rest of the episodes.
Nichijou - Randomness .. lucky star-ish feeling, which i liked.
Deadman Wonderland - wow the first ep was very ''damn i need to see more of this''. Interesting story so far.

I started the season with high expectations for [C], but my favorite thus far has to be Hyouge Mono. The historical characterizations and story-telling seem spot on. There are the occasional ridiculous facial expressions, but there's a lot of subtlety to the story as one might expect from an award-winning manga. I've been re-reading my old college East Asian history textbook and a bunch of online material to expand my knowledge of the Sengoku ("warring states") period.

I'm afraid I've become less enamored with noitaminA since the conclusion of House of Five Leaves. Neither of last season's shows, nor AnoHana this season, have done much for me, and I'm not sure if even Nakamura Kenji and Sakurai Takahiro can keep me interested in [C].

Twenty-six hours later, and not only has one of the posts I cited failed to update, but a good two or three after my reprimand went and broke the same rule. Still, some good content has come up, and I'll take a 50% victory as a victory in the interest of allowing this thread to live.

As for me, regrettably I haven't really had the chance to sit down and watch anything from this season. Heck, the most recent things I've watched have been about half of Eden of the East (decent, but the execution so far feels a little bland for the flaming nuclear wrecking ball of hype this show has preceding it), and last season's Madoka Magica (which, if it only had slightly improved animation, would be a surefire 11/10). If I catch anything from this season, though, I'll be sure to chime in. Laughing
