Before anyone asks, it is pronounced like "ease". I know because I am an expert.
That last part is a joke, but Ys is pronounced like I said it was. Congrats on XSEED and Falcom making it work!

Played these both long ago with the English fan translation patch.
Very nice games.
Ys is definitely one of my favorite action/adventure/RPG game series out there, though it's sadly unknown in the US.

Ys; ORIGIN is finally seeing its debut here! All we're missing is Ys IV and Ys V for the full series to have made its way over in some form.
Ys is one of the greatest shining examples of the action-RPG genre, and I consider myself among the best players of the series. I myself highly identify with Adol.
For the uninitiated, Ys: ORIGIN is the prequel to the series, taking place during the fall of Ys 700 years prior to Adol's journey.
