XSEED Games Adds Ys: Origins, Oath in Felghana to Steam

North American localizer XSEED Games announced on Tuesday that it will be bringing two action role-playing games from the Ys series, Ys: Origins and Ys: Oath in Felghana, to the Steam digital software distribution platform for personal computers. Oath in Felghana will be available on Steam on March 19 for US$14.99. The first English-language release of Origins will then be available at a date to be determined.
XSEED has previously localized several Ys games for the PlayStation Portable in North America: Ys I & II Chronicles, Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and Ys Seven, to list a few. Jun Iwasaki, President of Xseed Games, commented that “to start our new publishing arrangement on Steam with two standout entries from Falcom's action-based Ys series, one of which has never been made available in English before, is an ideal situation for us, and we are excited about the future possibilities.”
