Is there currently a way to do this? I'd expect a lot more things to get fixed by the original poster of information if they were alerted or given a list of things they have submitted that have been flagged.

I agree.
As an editor, if I find a mistake (that's not too complex to fix), I check to see if the contributor has been active on the site within the last few months, and if they have, I ask them via private message to make the necessary correction(s). If, OTOH, the problem is, for example, the lack of spelling, proper punctuation or grammar in a plot summary, I make the correction(s) myself. However, a (more) automated way to do this would be nice. |

I would be on top of this too. I was going to ask this same thing a couple days ago, but I ended up clicking through all the error reports in anime that I've seen looking for reports on my contributions. Incidentally, I noticed that some error reports appeared in the error report list, but not on the actual encyclopedia pages. This one, for instance. Bug or feature?
I think it only happens on info where there is a staff remark and/or when I filter the reports to only display those from anime that I've seen. |

In that case specific case, the information entry has been hidden—I've marked the error report as handled. If you find more of these, please report them so an editor can clear them. |

I would like an error report to generate a PM to the user who submitted the original information.
This PM causes an e-mail to be sent to this user (if configured accordingly in the submitter's profile), informing them to either handle the issue or add a reply to the error message, with no encyclopedist having to be involved in the case up to this point. And this might work even if said contributor hasn't been active on the site recently; the e-mail trigger might have been set for a reason after all. Following the same line of thought, I would like a modification of a contribution field that I added a flag to trigger a PM being sent to me, giving me a feedback of the contributor's reaction (which might contain additional information about the contribution and could ultimately even cause me to withdraw my error flag). doc-watson42's current procedure, while certainly being an improvement, only works if the submitter of such an error report is an encyclopedist and thus able to know the original submitter and thus contact them directly. It does have the advantage of potentially dealing with a whole bunch of contributions in one PM (I had this only recently and it turned out to be very efficient) but the corresponding information could also have been added to an error flag text. If such a mechanism isn't feasible for some reason then I would consider Rhyono's suggestion (list of flagged contributions by this user) as plan B. This one would additionally require some advertisement campaign of the new feature to make the contributors aware of its availability, plus encouraging them to use it on a regular basis. In comparison to such a "polling" algorithm I prefer the "trigger" mechanism of getting a PM when necessary. A combination of both mechanisms might also work, such as
