Thinking about your future is good, but don't forget to live an awesome life right now.
I don't know what path I'll take in my medical career yet. I was already happy to know that I want to be a doctor, it took some time to make that choice. |

A Mystery--
I try to live in the present by keeping one eye on the past and the other on the future -- I just don't know exactly how well or poorly I've done so. |

Hey, welcome A Mystery. It's good to see someone interesting for once. In case you're a girl, I need to inform you that I might be a sexist.

You a yooper?
There's nothing on that list that I'd complain about watching, although I haven't seen a few of those. I'm surprised to see Heat Guy J there. I liked it too, even if I don't mark it as a favorite, but it's not a widely loved show, so I don't expect to see it. I had forgotten about it myself until the old running gag on ANNCast. I like the cut of your jib, Botan24, which is strange, because you said nothing about owning a boat. |

How does a guy from PA know that term? But, no I'm not a Yooper.
I base my list on a few key criteria. One being re-watchablity. If a story can bring me back for a second helping, then it automatically goes up in my esteem. My other stipulations are more common I believe. They have to do with "did the story reach me?", "were the characters relatable?" and "was the overall experience entertaining (for comedy) or moving (drama) or both?" Heat Guy J falls under these categories, as well as Desert Punk, and Read or Die the OVA. Those three probably strike people as oddest anime on my list. And, I would have never watched Heat Guy J had it not been for the running gag on ANNcast.
The jib is the little sail right? The one you trim or whatever? I've always wanted to learn how to sail, but I'm much to lazy. Anyway, thanks! |

Well, I'm a very strange person who's spent too much time reading WikiPedia. It was probably during burst of interest in either secession movement, especially the 'State of Superior', or urbanism, which usually leads me to ponder Detroit. (Not always gloomily, there's Augustus Woodward's fascinating hexagonal grid plan for the city)
I think it is, but I wouldn't really know. The last time I was on a boat is was the kind powered by oars and it was when I hadn't figured out that I hated fishing. I spent most of the time trying to untangle my line. Oh well, that's better than the one time I tried fly fishing; I caught my own foot. |

@Surrender Artist
Don't talk to me about that hexagon death trap! Driving around Detroit is a nightmare! Every other city is a normal square (or rectangle) but they just had to be different. I avoid Detroit for the most part. Though, for more obvious reasons then the city's design. You caught your own foot? Well, I can't really josh you too much. I've only fished with a rod, and haven't caught anything. Although, I've only fished like twice. Most times, I accompany my husband. He does the fishing, and I read. |
