Okay, so VoaDS has two japanese voice tracks; in one the director and his wife play the romantic lead, in the other pro VAs play the parts? So the question is, which voice track is the right one and which should I hate? How am I gonna score cheap otaku purist points if they make it too hard to know what to hate?

The true Otaku Purist would just hate the whole thing. $20 for a 30minute DVD? They should have just packed it in free with NewType on one of their sample DVDs.

Yeah, it was really well done for being a project that someone did on their computer, on that level it was great, but not exactly something i'm willing to part with money for just to have in my collection. Not to mention I've already seen it. Compared to anything else out there it's just boring.

I bought the imported Animage release of the show (which included a nice book of production sketches/story boards) and thought it was worth the money (signifigantly more than $30). "True otaku purists" (whatever the heck those are) have been paying a lot more for half hour content for years by buying imports.

Also, I think Animage being involved with the release in Japan would preculde a Newtype bundled disc.

Trick question.

Due to some authoring error, ADV's disc doesn't include the director&wife track. It has the selection for it, but both of the Japanese tracks on the main feature are the pro VA track.

So, Real Anime Fans™ hate ADV.

By what you just said it is more important to listen to the track everyone else wants to listen to then the track that you enjoy the most. Jeez... Purists are funny sometimes. I can understand if you like to listen to the japanese voices, I do too, but listen to a voice track thats aproved by The Purists Association seems a little lame...

Haha T.P.A...
