I've always wanted to play an iM@S game. But they are very text heavy and my japanese is terrible. A rhythm game should be no problem though.
BTW, the PSP isn't region locked right?

With all the faqs out there, it is possible to play iM@S2 without knowing much, if any, Japanese. You should be able to at least match characters when going back and forth between TV and computer (or tablet if you're reading the faqs on one).

Correct, PSPs games are region-free.
