It's more like there are a lot of shows carrying over from the fall season. Winter is one of the off seasons so not many full-length titles premier.

All the announcements thus far also cover only the early half for the first week of premiers. Most shows tend to premier toward the end of the week along with most of the second week so we probably won't be seeing many major announcements until next week at the earliest.

Here's to hoping CrunchyRoll picks up Cardfight!! Vanguard Link Joker-hen and maybe the new Hetalia series.

Something different. With a lot less at stake with shorts, they can afford to take more chances with different things and see what catches on.
