Why the iOS and not the 3DS/Wii? Isn't Nintendo going to be upset?

Going for something hooked to a real TV would require a larger encode(and thus higher bandwidth costs), whereas phones can get away with a much smaller resolution and bitrate. As for why not the 3DS, it's probably only available on non-phones because they happen to be able to run the same apps.
