Anyone know if there will be a sequel to Getbackers? It was kinda left open, and the story really has lots of loose ends... so if anyone knows i would be happy if you can tell me ^^

Since it ended nearly 3 years ago, I doubt it. Most sequels are announced within at least a year of the anime's completion. Although, I'd be willing to bet the manga continues the story.

I really thought the Getbackers were entertaining, but read in 2 different articles that it is the end.

I have no way to back this up but the rumor of Berserk season 2 is not entirely dead yet.
If you want more of Getbackers, there`s really only one thing that you can do.

I watched the first season of this show but just kind of lost interest, not enough substance for me. Characters were funny tho.

wow... what are the chances of that...
well anyways.. i personally like the anime better.. i just read the manga and the character's personalities are completly different... >< and i think that the anime is better dont some of u agree?

I like the manga a bit better, but the anime remains one of my top favs. I mean we get way more Miroku brothers. And Akabane is just cool no matter where he is.
I thought the manga came to an end already in Japan.

Akabane is also one of my favorite Getbackers characters because he's always calm when something big is going down. Plus all those scalpels  And the manga is still going strong at 30+ volumes.

That's one of the things I liked about the manga, really. I didn't really care much for the Mirokus in the anime, but with more of them, it got a bit more interesting. I still was impatient for that arc to get over with, though.  (Eager for Toshiki to show up, I guess.)
