You can list old console games (N64, Genesis, PS, etc.) as well as next-gen. If there are any anime games that aren't out yet that you want, list those too. I'm curious to see just how many different anime games actually make it onto this list. I recently found a list of anime games online and I was surprised to see how long it was - most of it was on PS or PC though.

I am trying to get translations of some Eva games and am waiting for the US release of the Naruto games. I do have some old Ranma games for the snes. And you could count my Phantasy Star 4 as a manga game, as all the cutscenes use a manga style of still images (it's a genesis game).

Well, lots of games use animation stills (fighters and rpgs, for story and interaction. Like Jade Cocoon,Rival Schools, and thousands more) so I think those aren't "anime games". Anime based though, I have DBZ Ultimate Battle 22 and Legendary Super Warriors and Gundam Battle Assault. Roms though, I have DBZ: Super Butouden/2/3, and Buyu Retsuden. Also Sailor Moon Pretty Soilder, and a Magic Knights Rayearth rpg and a gundam fighter. Last edited by Zenitram on Tue Aug 26, 2003 1:57 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I have Kingdom Hearts.. if that counts as an anime video game. I have 2 of the .hack games and Xenosaga (I think it's going to become an anime, right?)

I have Lunar! That game rules. Plus all the Square games, and Pokemon. I've got a bunch of roms too - a Tenchi Muyo tactical RPG, a Bastard game, a YYH game, tons of DBZ games, some Gundam games, the list goes on...

The only ones I actually own are the Gundam 0079: Side Story game on the Dreamcast and the two Zillion games on the Sega Master System, but, yes, I've... umm... "played", somehow, a whole bunch of things including various Mega Drive and Super Famicom Sailor Moon games, including an English translation of the RPG (much harder that you'd expect), the Tenchi Muyo tactical RPG (like Shining Force but much more "kiddy"), a couple of Patlabor games, the Gundam Wing fighting game, the Rayearth RPG and... others.
EDIT: Also Spell Caster on the SMS, which is really a port of the Peacock King Kujaku game on the Sega Mark III. |

Xenosaga, .hack, Final Fantasy and DBZ Budokai.
If you count 'em, Legaia, Kingdom Hearts and Chrono. |

If you consider the Soul Calibur series to be done in the anime style (http://www.soulcalibur2.com) then I can count Soul Calibur 1 along with Xenosaga and in about three days I can count Soul Calibur 2 as well. It's hard to tell from looking at the SC2 extra characters that the rest of the game is done with anime style in mind though;

My, what large . . . images you have.
Let's see, I have atleast 4 or 5 for the PS (Macross Plus, Kenshin RPG, Slayers something *Shurgs*, Inu Yasha, and one other.). For the PS 2; .hack Vol 1-2, Dragonball Z: B, Orphan. *Wonders if should count "Street Combat" as anime game.* One more thing, Anime then game, game then anime, or alittle of both, becasue people are listing Kingdom Hearts, Lunar, etc, and their anime counterparts (I'm pretty sure Lunar doesn't have a counterpart.) has came out yet. (Yes, I do have Lunar 1 and 2 and Kingdom Hearts.) |
