It seems that making anime adaptations when the anime is finished/nearly finished/well underway rather than 'at the peak of its popularity' has become a new trend. One that I hope will continue, as it will cut down on all that filler.
That aside, yay!

So does that mean there is a D. Gray-Man anime coming out, or what?

I'm confused. Is tha manga ending soon? I thought it was in the peak of its popularity(so far at least). I don't really keep up on D.Grayman news, but I find it unlikely that an action series of its type would end at 8 or so volumes, especially since it seems to be pretty popular. Hopefully the anime will change up the story a bit. There's no point in seeing the same exact story twice.

I'm going to guess this is one of those Shonen Jump series that is going to run for x amount of episodes. I can't see any reason they'd shake things up too much.

Since there are only...79 or 80 chapters out, I'm surprised they're going to be making an anime so soon. They'll be in filler territory pretty quickly.

Good news. The first volume was intriguing, and skimming through some of the later chapters has me pretty excited to read (or see) more. I just hope the anime doesn't get too hefty in fillers if it runs for a couple of years.

I don't think so there has only been 79 chapters and its really just starting to get going. There are so few chapters due to Hoshino being injured on two separate occasions.

You know, I think championferret is right. They realy are makin' a D. Grayman anime.

So does this mean we should add it into the Encyclopedia now since there's a D. Grayman anime coming out?

I wouldn't worry about it until they actually make the announcement. Even then we wouldn't 100% knowledge of this anime.
