I remember seeing a topic about this, or at least somebody mentioning it, a while ago (months ago) but I don't remember what it said.

What exactly affects how much your ratings will affect the rating bars in the encyclopedia? I know that depending on who submits the votes, they bar may go higher or lower. I'm just not sure (or forgot) how it is determined...

I have a question similar to this one. I rated the Battle Royale manga "Excellent" for Japanese, but "Worst Ever" for English. Because I submitted two votes for this series, will the size of the bars have a smaller change than if I only rated it once?

Wait a second, you can give two ratings for one title? Can anyone show me how to do that?

Choose a title that you've already rated in your My Anime and click "Rate." At the next screen, choose "Add" and a different language.

Only the best rating will be taken into account. BTW it's ridiculous to give such different ratings to two versions of the same manga.

Many heuristics are used to eliminate or lessen the impact of spammers. I won't go into further details because it would only help spammers to avoid the heuristics. Basically this question is only useful to spammers.

I've never read BR in either Japanese raw or English translation, but terribly awful translations do exist (although very rare), namely the official R3 release of FF7:AC. It has become the biggest joke in animation translation history.

Do you not remember how Keith Giffen murdered the Tokyopop English translation? Eh, whatever. I don't want to turn this into a fight. (And it's not like I'm the type of perosn that rates everything either Masteripece or Worst Ever. I only save Worst Evers for the really awful ones.)

Oh, I see the dillydallyshillyshally scene... that was the only part of the English version I didn't like (in terms of translation and quality). Wondering what they did there though...
