This is one of my favorite anime because its got a lot of non stop action. The storyline is okay but I have seen better in anime before but the rivary between Naruto and and Sasuke keep the stoyline fresh. The techniques is Naruto is so cool but my favorite ninjians technique is Sasuke fire syle jijsue. I ain saying its the greatest but it up high in my book

Naruto sucks. The action gets so repetitive and the characters are freakin annoying. The story sucks too. If anything the manga is better so theres no annoying voices.

i like naruto.. I've been watching it for a few years now im quite diversed in what i watch... so i like most everythign i watch..not everything. so i like just fighting, or all story or a mixture of the 2 and i do watch naruto on cartoon network when i can remember too.. it comes on too early for me
as far as techniques go they have yet to show my second favorite.. my first is the sexy jutsu which i beleave they have already shown.. and will show more of if they dont edit it out and my absolute favorite.. the name doesnt give away what it is BUT i leave it up to you if you want to know the name, rasengan if you want to know more about it pm me and ill tell you

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and Mr. Roboto is entitled to his. Though his words were harsh, they carried some truth in them. It is true that the story is quite cliched. It is a Shonen title afterall.
In my opinion, the voices aren't as bad as you claim them to be. It's true that Naruto's voice is repulsive in the dub, but I think that it is the equivalent of the Japanese voice. Sakura may get annoying, but you have to wait for her to show off the goods, but other than that almost everyone's voice is pretty good. I like the action, too. Many of the jutsu are very entertaining to see. I especially like everyone's Bloodline Limit, especially the Sharingan (look at the avatar and username). The one thing that I have to say is bad about Naruto is, though how cool it is and as much as I like it, is the Rasengan. That move made it too much like DBZ for me. Though Masashi Kishimoto's all-time favorite manga-ka and inspiration is Akira Toriyama, that move made it too unrealistic. However, just that can't ruin an awesome show and manga for me.

I'm just going to say that I tried to like Naruto, I really did, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. The action is repetative, just as Mr. Roboto says. Kakashi was the only character I liked, then even he became slightly irritating. Don't even get me started on Naruto himself. That character has seen no development at all. How can the main character of a manga be static? It just doesn't work out.

I don't mind Naruto but and it did hook me and make me want to watch more regardless of its many many faults, such as the world in which it takes place, the characters being 1 dimensional and the list goes on. Beyond that it didn't waste my time as much as Maburaho and can be entertaining.

Coming into someone's thread just to unceremoniously crap all over their opinion is trolling. If you want to present a differing opinion, then exercise intelligence, don't just come in hollaring "this sucks, that sucks, this also sucks, you suck, it sucks, it all sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks."
Just a kindly warning for the future. That doesn't fly.

How can the main character of a manga be static? It just doesn't work out. | I have to admit I am of your opinion. Naruto, when it wants to (no, not the character, the show), can be cool and really fun to watch. But the repetition, the shonen-angst, and ten minutes of flashback each episode get really annoying after a while. Yes, I get it! Naruto's a lonely kid! Yes, I know! He wants to be Hokage! Yes, yes, yes! He has "grown up," whatever that means! I know, I know! Hinata (right?) is a sweet girl with a crush on a boring character. Now please move on with the fight, thank you. It's much more fun watching Sasuke beating up random other characters (tm) than watching Naruto brood the same thing over and over like a troubled child.
That's my problem with it, anyway. Other characters can be quite interesting, or, at least, not obnoxiously boring, but it seems the main character has to be the worst one in the show. I read somewhere that somebody said that Rock Lee was far more interesting--fun--to watch than Naruto.
Of Kakashi, it's obvious he's designed to be cool. The mature, powerful, deadly, caring, and slim ninja; he's meant to be cool and likable. So much so that I think Naruto will be the best shonen series ever if it turns out Kakashi is the ultimate villain of it all.

But I like Naruto. It's probably the next best thing in Japanese cartooning and probably the next DBZ.

DBZ is a lot better. A lot better characters and it's cooler. It never gets old either.

Are we watching the same Naruto? The Naruto I´ve seen has incredible fights, surrounded by boring dialogue and events that take much longer than they should. Isn´t that the main reason it gets compared to DBZ a lot? Do we really need every move explained?
The only reason I still watch Naruto is because I enjoy seeing the fight scenes that were illustrated in the manga.
The opener to this topic is horrible. The opinion sounds like a random ¨Narutard¨, except for the part that says about there being better storylines.
naruto fan 09812, by any chance are you watching the show on Cartoon Network? I wonder just how deep you are into the series.

Ik like Naruto personally. I think it's a good way to amuse myself during the day, as it's a simple show with no complicated storyline, good battles and some likeable characters. Just what I expect from a shonen, and I'm not really expecting a briljant storyline or deep characters anyway, it's a bloody kids show.
It's not my favourite show, there are others I prefer high above Naruto, but most of those shows aren't really fit to watch during the day (I save the best for the night). Since the show also had a lot of episodes, it gives me entertainment on par with a fun game. I'm fine with that.
I do like One Piece better though.

It never gets old? Wow, have we been watching the same show?

Honestly, as joel_s95387 said, what are you people watching? The action in Naruto is probably the best out there, even compared to other shounen. Almost every fight scene brings something new to the table. Yes, the anime takes a while, but don't think Naruto sucks because of that. I'm more of a manga fan myself, but I still enjoy the anime no matter how much it's compared to DBZ. (SharinganEyes92, I like the Rasengan.)
If you don't think Naruto (the character) develops, you obviously haven't been paying attention or at least seen enough to say that. Why does everyone like Kakashi...? His character type does not appeal to me.
