And so ends that run. A thoroughly mediocre film when Harlock deserves a stronger presence and script, and the movie just came off as characters going through the motions to get it over with. Don't tell me that it's hard to cram the scope of a 40 episode show into two hours and get something meaningful out of it when Arcadia of My Youth did exactly that.

I just can't believe Nexflix keeps acquiring new anime series and movies when D-Greyman and FMA: Brotherhood are both still missing their final seasons. On Netflix Canada anyways....

Here in the US, Netflix has the same 51 episodes of D. Gray-man that Funimation has. (They don't have the complete series, never have, and likely never will). Since Netflix licenses the series from Funimation, they can hardly be blamed for not having something Funimation itself does not.
For FMA:B, the situation is different. Netflix US has only the first 52 of 64 episodes, apparently mirroring the situation of Netflix Canada. I expect either Netflix isn't willing to pay what Funimation requires for those final 12 episodes, or Funimation is unwilling to license them.

Like everybody else, I'm wondering who has Hunter x Hunter and who licensed it to them. Of course, Netflix probably got it themselves, but it's weird they didn't advertise it.

Well, I'm glad someone picked it up, so I can finally check it out for myself. Kind of funny seeing the Netflix logo next to Harlock, never thought I'd see that.

They're streaming the Harlock movie in Japanese and Spanish, but... why not English? There is an English dub after all (and done by some of the mocap actors too)...

The Harlock movie is a disgrace to Harlock but if you turn off your brain like most Shinji Aramaki movies then its decent action movie.

Yea there is. Its Steven Foster dub like the Appleseed movies.

Netflix has made some strange moves with anime titles lately. They dropped many of the English dubbed anime they had then added a few shows with only subs (blue exorcist, AoT, kill la kill). They also added a few that are dubbed but for some reason only have the sub, and only season 2 so what's the point. (Canada)

If I had to guess, I'd say the decisions were based off the numbers for each language track.

That's why I wish Aramaki would make up his own stories and stop adapting series I like. Nothing with "Appleseed" in the title should ever be a "turn off your brain" kind of movie, and the Harlock movie...no. Pretty, but not what it should've been.

Oh yeah a movie about space pirates, I was totally expecting a second coming of 2001: A Space Odyssey. YOU WASTED POTENTIAL ARAMAKI!

Oh good, hopefully it's included when we finally get a US blu-ray eventually.
Yeah, I also don't really understand why they wouldn't include the English dub on Netflix if they're doing both the Japanese and a Spanish track.

This is why I never use Netflix.
