I have not visited in a while and see a new format forces us to have distracting and system intensive blurbs in the right side of teh window. Is there any way to turn this off or to chose a skin that does NOT have it? it is a terrible invasion of the content and makes reading very hard and browsing terrible esp of the main forum topic threads when we are just trying to see what is up.
It is a Bad move in every way i can see, having been a editor and a format editor in several media. Please let me know how to go back to the simple page view or consider giving us the option. It is also a severe drain on system resources, typing text i see a hesitation in every key stroke while that content refreshes. thank you for any possible help on this. |

There is a small button in the top right corner of the sidebar, just below your username in the top bar. That gets rid of it.
