He was awesome all throughout the previous film. He swallowed his pride and ate dirt to protect his family. He put up a better fight against Beers than Super Saiyan 3 Son Gokuu. If that isn't awesome I don't know what is.

Anyone know if FOX is distributing this one, too? If so, I wonder if they'll release it on home video here themselves this time, or if FUNimation will just try to get the negotiations for the rights in early, so they don't have to wait a year for it.

Vegeta did something awesome in BoG: BINGO SONG.
I'd like to see Gohan do something awesome in this one. And not just be drunk and useless (though if I were Gohan, I'd become a drunk, too, since he was cast aside by Toriyama).
Two hours is pretty lengthy for a DBZ movie. Can it maintain any momentum for that long?

Same sentiments...
But Gohan, after the Boo arc already hanged up his gloves as a fighter and dedicated most of his time to scholar researches leaving him a level down through the likes of Goku and Vegeta where he was supposed to have the largest amount of potential...
But my 2 cents will be, I wish there'll be a bad-ass villain... The BoG final boss is kinda... lame.

I just hope the next film is a little less of a reunion episode, and a little more its own thing.
Also more Trunks/Kid Mai. Because that's AMAZING.

I hope Trunks flies instead of walks to people 20 feet away from him just because no big deal.

When I'm comparing the animation quality of DBZ movies 14 (Battle of the Gods) & the trailer of 15, to those of the original series (like Kai) makes me cry a little bit inside why did Toei just re-animated the series using today's tech? I believe it would've eased new viewers into the show better than the "let's keep the original late 80's-early 90's frames".
TL;DR
The trailer's animation is sweet, can't wait

I didn't read the article so I missed that there was a teaser attached.
The DBZ crew trying to fix a Wish gone awry sounds like a really good movie premise.

I enjoyed BoG, and can't wait to see how this turns out. Hope it's just as good, if not better (hopefully it'll have more fighting this time...) and that it'll also be in theaters here. It would be awesome if we got a new DBZ movie every other year!

I did not care for Battle of the Gods at all. I could not believe that movie was theatrically released, it was about as fleshed out and engaging as those one off OVAs they've done (like the one with Vegeta's brother), but I could at least appreciate those for what they were because they weren't trying to be anything but silly one-offs. If it's going to be a feature length movie, make it worth my time. BotG was not worth my time, and I couldn't stop thinking through the whole thing "why does this exist!" Toriyama being involved with this new movie does not give me much hope that this one will be better considering Toriyama was involved with BotG, and well, yeah...
I guess I'm in the minority of not having likeed it though...

Ideally, the BD/DVD will sell over 9000 copies the 1st day it hits stands.

That's month later than BoG premiered... They are really hush-hush about this thing. I guess they're gonna pile on the advertising full-stop in January or February.
