Yen Press licensed Chaika - The Coffin Princess manga just last month...

Makes me wonder if this manga will be a full adaption of the LN. I'm interested in checking out the manga, but not if it doesn't have a proper ending.

There's no way they could adapt all the novels. 6 manga volumes could never adapt all 12 light novel volumes. Especially when two of the LN haven't even been released yet. I know the first two novels are covered completely. So I expect the first 3-4 volumes will be covered but no more.

I'm glad that Yen Press is releasing this, but part of me is hoping that a "second season" of the manga is released to cover more of the novels. But I suppose I'll take what I can get.

Well, Mayo Chiki was adapted into 7 manga volumes based off of a 12 LN series. I've no idea what may have been cut or changed in the manga compared to the LN, but they gave a complete story.

Wouldn't see 6 volumes as being totally out of the question for Chaika.

Of course, I have no what the depth of story was for Mayo Chiki's LNs when compared to Chaika's. Or if Mayo Chiki's manga was a full adaption...Laughing

I'll buy Yen Press manga hoping the novels get a western release eventually.
