"Frieza" is the English dub spelling used by Funimation. "Freeza" is the correct spelling used officially by the Viz manga, Funimation's subtitles for the Japanese version and almost all Japanese merchandise. It's like calling Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho "Kayko". (Because Funimation spelled her name in the dub that way because... IDEK? Doesn't really matter as both "Kayko" and "Frieza" are pronounced the same as the Japanese version, but still.) |
