Query: Source for English Xenosaga cast?

I'm the editor for Xenosaga: The Animation over on TV.com, and I'm wondering what the source provided for the English cast for it here was. Especially considering that none of the listed cast voiced characters in ANY of the three games (Crispin Freeman's not even there, and he works for just about anybody). It just seems a bit fishy to me. I checked ADV's site, and I didn't see any press releases there, and neither their official site (which is a page-holder right now) nor the official trailer have any voices.

hmmm... until I see a press release, I think I'm going to consider those unofficial.

I do not consider forum posts official, unless it is the company/organization-sponsored board. Again, for the page on tv.com, I will wait for an OFFICIAL press release.

That post is from Janice Williams, who works for ADV, so there is no reason to think that the information is inaccurate. Cast guessing games sponsored by an ADV rep are held on Anime on DVD's English Track forum quite often.

There have been a few times where roles guessed in the game have been recast later on, but that is a rare occurence.

While ANN may accept forum posts, I have decided that I will not, and therefore I am standing by my decision not to allow it on tv.com until I see a press release.

And anyway, tv.com uses a different system for adding cast, as it's done on an episode level, and, without the DVDs, we won't have the per-episode cast anyway.
