I hope the JP release has subtitles and is region-free. i can't see this getting an English release.

When oil and water meet, oil shall merge with water, and water shall merge with oil.

Between oil and water, the gateway to chaos is opened!

Cyborg 009 vs Devilman descends with the look of greatness.

You CAN mix water and oil...you just need something to hold it all in. This movie, hopefully, will be like a good roast chicken, with sensible uses of water and oil to cook it all.

I do really appreciate them taking 008's redesign from the 2001 series and updating it further. In spite of his appearances in the original manga, he was one of the most sensible depictions of a black person in Japanese media I'd ever seen, and the manga was written about fifty years ago. (Can't really say the same about 006, or arguably 005 either though.)

whoa this brings back memories, this is an amazing crossover, I've always wasnted to watch cyborg 009 but its so hard to find coupled with its outdated art its put me off. then theres devilman the characters in it are so overly cliched but ill forgive it due to the time period it was released. but that godamn turtle is back i [expletive] hated it since i think it killed that spoiler[little girl who visited Akira]and put their face on its shell

keeping my fingers crossed for an(another) anime of 009 or devilman with current gen animation even devilman or the infamous violence jack would be great

Not entirely a fan of 009's VA, and I'm more used to the old designs... But I'll give this a chance, since it looks pretty great. I know pretty much nothing about Devilman though, haha.
