When will Seto Kaiba learn his place already? I mean, I am watching the Duel Monster series and I'm at episode 170 and the bocchan already lost 4-0 to Yami Yuugi...

Good grief, please, I need a new plot... Mad

Kaz design made him look so much cooler. Now I'm just like dafuq? Sera looks so cute, which is the highlight of Monday's news.

You don't get the point. It's rivalry. The whole relationship between Kaiba and Atem/Yugi is rivalry. This time it's different, since it's the very first duel where Kaiba does not duel Atem, but Yugi himself. Yugi was one of the few people who defeated his true rival, and this showdown will prove whether Yugi is the true King of Games or not.

Also, rivalry relationships are very popular. Why do you think people love Goku vs Vegeta, Amuro vs Char, Taichi vs Yamato, etc. That's why most of those relationship are still existent in their respective spin-offs.

And another reason why the movie is about their rivalry is nostalgia.

It happens more frequently than you think, Yusei was voiced by a member of Run&Gun, actor and singer Miyashita Yuya.

Shunsuke Kazama is from Johnny's I think...

Yugi/Atem, Yusei, Aki, Paradox, and I guess Yuma, too. Nothing new.

looks that way. which MIGHT save this movie from obscurity. at least in the japaneese side. however for the US side,it will be much much worse. completely ignored and cast aside once that hacked up edited dub version gets released. besides,by the time it does come to the US, everyone would have seen it already via fansubs.

That's only if they realize what's going on though. By and large people didn't realize the first few series were using singers. They're not huge celebrities either way, a lot of them are b-list guys. For instance, Aki's actress was only really known cause she was in Dekaranger (Japanese version of Power Rangers SPD), a show that won the Seiun award, but it's still a Sunday morning kids show.
