Pretty sure she's an actress. What, with auditions and all. Boyega was cast on name, but unknowns (and most knowns) go through casting calls and auditions. I don't get how people don't understand this. It's even a movie cliché.

it's a movie about Giant Robots and Giant Monsters no one's going to care about "real" or not real actors.
