I've got a character in mind that most of you peeps will not pick: Gai Shishioh from The King of Braves GaoGaiGar. If Good Smile do decide to make it, they should include the Will Knife as well.

I went with the one show from last year that is seriously lacking figures: Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (with me picking Kanna as the character that I want to see a figure of).

I choose Lina Inverse from The Slayers. She is way overdue for a figure, I don't care if the figure has her in either her first season design, her Next-onward design, or her OVA/Movie design, I just want it to happen.

Kind of around the same general topic, if someone were to commission a custom PVC figure how much would that roughly cost? Say of an anime that you think would never see the light of day as a figurine, or a particular character that already exist but would like to see it in a different pose/outfit than what's available

Could this be done at any sort of plastics shop? (i.e. hand them the 3D schematics of your PVC figure) or would custom molding via clay and stuff be required?

The problem with many of the choices is that GSC just doesn't own the license for those characters. I went with Illya myself. The chances of her getting made are much higher.

A 3D printer can make non-articulated statues. Some US public libraries have them. If my memory isn't too off, some libraries only charge for the plastic, like under $1 an ounce ( 1 ounce = about 28 grams. ) Ars Technica webmagazine had an article where they made a plastic cover part for an ordinary refrigerator door hinge this way. The big problems were getting a very exact 3D model file, which took several tries, and getting the color of the plastic right, which they never really did. Which white is which is hard, I think.

I would really like to hear if anyone has tried this with the figurines we like. I think you need an original to copy from, which would have to be out of print, of course.

Skull Knight from Berserk would be so great, and they have the license!

I think Adult Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time makes the most logical sense to be in the figma line. Gai can be added in either Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line or Kotobukiya's line of plastic model kits.

I asked for Lloyd Irving, though Lina Inverse would have been my second choice.

Lloyd Irving is a pretty solid choice, I'd gotta say. I don't know if there were any Tales series characters in the figma line... My first choice was Gai Shishioh from GaoGaiGar, but I think Bandai and Kotobukiya seem to be the better candidates to make a high-quality figure of the cyborg. So I went with Adult Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time instead since Good Smile already have the rights to make Zelda figures.
