At this stage, is there anything this series can deliver that would count as a legitimate April Fools' Day surprise? A point must have been reached at which the audience fully expects every attempt to mislead and bewilder them.

That's a really good guess. I wouldn't be surprised if they even announce a full series based on it, in the vein of Kujibiki Unbalance.

My goodness. A "Pop Team Epic" special. Is it going to be as insane as the series? Most likely. I'm hope it comes over here. I'd like to see it.

I hope we can get another season of PTE. That is 1 of the most random anime I have ever seen.
