Might want to revisit the article tagline phrasing, it sounds like MLP isn't all-age appropriate! Maybe I just never caught on to the metaphors...Unicorns anyone?

I don't watch the show, but it is amazing how some shows rated TV-Y, TV-Y7, or TV-G can get away with so much PG-13 or R-rated humor. |

The show itself (and the official comics and manga) is completely appropriate for kids.
Some of the fan-made stuff you'll find on the internet, though, is definitely NOT (though to be fair, the same can be said for almost any popular all-ages cartoon or anime.) |

If the manga is anything but a slice of life story or a huge ripoff of pop culture like with the idw comic’s I be sure to check this out.
