Like everyone else I would have preferred it to be 2, but still, the fact that something is being done with the franchise at all is giving me max hype since I completely abandoned hope.

I'm assuming it'll be for PC since that way the disc swapping would work?

If they're going to keep the disc swapping element, it'll probably be a case of using a device's camera to scan a barcode, or QR code, something like that...

Why not a remaster? Graphically speaking, the old Monster Rancher looks like it needs a fresh coat of paint.

many pc's now-a-days do not have optical disc drives.

so it will be interesting how they do that bit.

I hope this is a sign of things to come. I really would love a port of their psx Saiyuki game. I love that game.
