It's not often I watch overly edgy shows, but this series is actually pretty amusing. If nothing else, it'll be cool to see that transformation animated

I still can't believe this got an anime, because I stuck with reading it for like, 3 years, and nothing happened. Nothing they could feasibly turn into a contained arc.

Having read the manga and looking at that headline all I could think was how the hell could anyone ever mistake this thing for a "romantic comedy"?

I have read just the first two volumes and will say, I can see the 'Romantic/Comedy' if I squint. Yeah, there's a chance this can turn into a romance, sure....but comedy? Unless future volumes prove it otherwise, I don't see it happening.

Hmmm...I read the first volume and I remember not liking it and even hating the main characters (male lead for being so spineless, female lead for being a mix of completely unlikable and unbelievable (in the “the only reason this character is alive is due to plot armor” way)

This is more horror/adventure, there is no trace of romance and not a hint of comedy. The main couple's relationship is more master/servant or anti-hero/sidekick.
