Third film for May, as expected. With COVID-19 flying across the country though, I can't see myself going to watch the first two again. Especially when the blurays exist without the risk lol.

This is infuriating. I've been anticipating this movie for three years, and May 7 is literally the ONE night in the next three months that I can't go. I really hope they add a second date at some point. Even if it's just for a dub screening, I'll take it.

its definitely not just one day. the fathom events website shows at least 6 different days

Yep, the Fathom page for the film lists May 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, and 16 all listed as subtitled.

So is every anime movie in theaters going to be handled by Fathom Events from now on? I can't stand them. Every showing I've gone to has had visible and distracting deinterlacing artifacts and at least one sound problem.
