The few chapters I read of this manga (before tracking down the web novel) were fairly light on plot, but clearly put a lot of thought into how a grappler-type character would work in a fantasy world, without dwelling on literal RPG mechanics. Those did come up rarely, but only as (the character) Yajin's explanatory shorthand for what was actually happening at any moment. Strong Grimgar vibes overall.
And the party he eventually joins? Three dudes. A highly irregular isekai tensei indeed, if only in how close it hews to more traditional fantasy.
