Had never heard of him before, but Rest In Peace. As a career-library person, donating some of the leftover funds to a local one is super rad. <3

I never knew who he was, but I do recognize him through my many years of going to Otakon. My memory sucks anymore, but my gf remembers us speaking to him and that he was very friendly. I'm sorry that Otakon, and his friends and family, have lost such a good person and friend. RIP.

This is sad. I knew Chuck well over past three decades. He was six year younger than me. Chuck will be missed.

He was one of those people that I didn't know personally, but always instantly recognized when I saw him at conventions.

Didn’t know Chuck personally, but I’m grateful for the volunteer organizing he did and the legacy of Otakon he leaves behind. I often browsed the Ota-Museum, marveling at the time, passion, and creativity that is the foundation of this otaku mecca. Otakon is one of the few institutions that bring me joy. May Chuck’s memory live on through the joy brought to countless other generations of otaku yet to come.

Had to remove some posts. This thread is not the place for any ignorant conspiracy theories, or poor taste comments. Seriously, get some class or don't post. Any news article on the death of someone in these forums is not the place for any such callous comments and ignorance. Take that elsewhere.
