It was distracting watching it flip between the final version and various versions where the background was present but the douga was used for the animation and then the versions where the background was from the layout with the characters either shown as their finished CG forms or as shown from the douga. I would have preferred there had been one version which was the layout background/douga animation instead of the flipping between versions.
Still no credit given to Ikuko Ito for those transformation sequences. For shame, Toei. Really glad I was able to spirit off with a good chunk of the original Aqua Rhapsody douga/genga.
