Of the studios, I expected CloverWorks the least to tackle it, so it's a nice surprise to say the least. Technically it's not their first time adapting a Kirara manga, they already tried their hands at Slow Start, which was coincidentally also the studio's very first anime as a separate entity from A-1 (besides the ill-fated Franxx). I have a soft spot for Slow Start so let's hope this adaptation is going to be just as lively. Here's hoping they won't handle more than they can chew like last year, but seeing as they're about to have 3 anime running at the same time (!) next season, I don't know about that. At the very least Spy x Family is a co-production.

That's my concern as well. I know their team is not small, but it feels like they are stretching it. I get it, not every studio is KyoAni and only does one or two shows per year. But man, sometimes it really shows when everyone is stretched to the absolute brim every single season.
