I was convinced that they were also going to announce a version for the Xbox. There were even rumors that a Switch Cloud version was in the works, but that's probably for the best because there would have been thousands of bad jokes about a "Cloud Strife version".
Although considering the emphasis they gave to the Steam Deck makes me wonder if there will be a port for the Switch successor in the future, I mean, if it can handle the game.

The thing is that the Steam Deck is a beefier piece of hardware compared to the Switch, so we'll see how they will handle Crisis Core Reunion on Switch first. But I got a feeling they will keep on pushing their cloud tech on us and go that route if there is a Switch port.
And yes, FF7R's finally on Steam. Hope this continues on with the other two installments.

As much as I enjoyed the first 70% of FF7 remake, I really wish they had stuck to the story I love and not made a demake of the game. Ahh well, whats done is done. I suppose no director could live with being told to do the whole game again but better for years of their lives. (While disliking sephiroths early appearances spoiling the pace of the story)
