I really love The Girl From The Other Side, both the manga and the two anime versions. I personally prefer the 10-minute short, but the movie has a lot to like about it as well, even if it's not entirely faithful to the manga. It's understandable, as it'd be impossible to adapt an 11-volume manga in a little over an hour, and while the changes the movie makes are pretty suspect, I can understand Wit Studio not wanting to bite off more than it can chew. Also, CR mentioned that they're going to dub it later. Can't wait til that drops!

I knew they were making an OVA but had no idea they crowdfunded a movie, awesome!
The manga is excellent so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this, even if I'm sure a lot had to be cut. Shame this is so difficult to adapt, and props to Wit for trying their best! |

Not a bad film at all, shit knows I certainly enjoyed it when I watched it a few weeks ago.
