Oh cool! Not a lot of anime on Netflix have gotten home video releases, so here's hoping this is a sign of things to come! Maybe Aggretsuko can come next? Very Happy

It’s pretty rare that Sentai gets the license to an actual good anime. I’m looking forward to collecting this.

This is great news, not just for Carole and Tuesday but for Netflix jailed anime as a whole because it gives me hope that we will also eventually get home releases for shows like Devilman Crybaby, Little Witch Academia or hmm, I don't know, one other, more recent Netflix Anime that took the world by storm and starts with a C and ends with yberpunk Edgerunners. Rolling Eyes

They are citing Netflix's dub cast in the press release.

The press release implies they have the Netflix dub since they list two of it's VAs in addition to the Japanese.

Ooo, fantastic! I just might blind buy this. I've wanted to watch it, but I didn't want to get a Netflix account to do so.

... So would "home entertainment rights" potentially extend to being able to broadcast the series on TV, such as Toonami? I'm going to safely assume "no" because that's very likely an entirely different series of rights, but it would be cool to have another Watanabe series on the block. Either way, though, I'm glad that I'll have a chance to watch this series without having to subscribe to another streaming service I don't need.

Funny, the only other Shinichiro Watanabe title Sentai licensed was also about music. If they've paid for the dub, I wonder if that means they paid the high price or if Netflix lowered it for this title.

That's a solid get for Sentai. But I'm more excited about the increased likelihood of seeing more Netflix anime on home video. I would love to own Dorohedoro.

Nice! Hopefully they're able to get more original dubs instead of having to redub shows
