I know its not this anime's fault, but the trailer makes me think there is so much opportunity lost making beastmen all just humanoids with animals ears and tails and no difference in society except a strength fetish. Which most isekai stories have normal human empires follow as well. It just makes me think there is opportunity to explore different communities and social structures, that we do not take except in Somali and Kino.
