The dinosaur designs for this new film looks great! Also great that the Shin-chan anime films went back to 2D, though I would have watched last year's first 3D film with English subtitles in theaters if it was available.
I wonder if there's any chance these 30+ anime films could get licensed for English release on Blu-ray with theatrical screenings. It'd be awesome if Discotek or GKIDS could start releasing the first Shin-chan films from the 90s on Blu-ray.

It's possible that they'll see an English release one day. Perhaps one of the reasons why it hasn't happened yet could be due to the limited popularity of the franchise in the Anglosphere. Considering how the movies aren't that continuity-heavy and can watched in any order, it definitely would be awesome for the movies from the 90s, or even the recent ones, to receive an official English release. The large movie count might be a bit of a turnoff from a business perspective, but starting out with at least 1 or 2 of them (and license more down the line, depending on how well the initial release does) wouldn't be a bad idea.
