That’s what I was hoping he’d mention at AX. Last year they announced that a new Macross anime was in the works, but I have yet to see anything else about it. Maybe he’s saving it for Anime NYC at the end of August. |

He did mention the new Macross anime at Sunrise during his Q&A panel, but only to confirm it is still in the works. He added that he makes a point of making each Macross project completely different from the previous ones, so he and the staff are exploring how to do just that. |
