I might give it a try despite knowing nothing about the show, also... Did Amazon got the censored version? By their release schedule that's what it seems to me.

This being on Amazon instead of Crunchyroll makes me worried about the dub cast returning for this new show, any hope of a Blu-ray release is probably out the window.
It also looks like this is going to be a reboot instead of a continuation, at least based on the synopsis. |

If so, masterful gambit on Trigger's part.
Crunchyroll gets the censored version of anime all the time. It's pretty standard. |

Really? Both the synopsis and the first series's end with... uh, hints(?) of a darker side to the characters. If you're looking for a direct continuation of the first series, there was a short single-issue story in comic form by the original creator that followed spoiler[Brief putting Panty back together and then getting cucked by Nova who blasted in from Trigger's Space Patrol Luluco series. Then Garterbelt is confronted by Demon Stocking, hinting that he might get turned by her...] ...which seems related to the final scene of the trailer. Do I think that comic is required reading? Heck no, but I do hope they'll treat it as canon, since it also spoiler[continued Luluco's canon, too.] |

It says other streaming services will get it at a later date so I'm certain that Crunchyroll will get the uncensored version

ABEMA is streaming the original version on the 9th/10th at the same time as the censored TV broadcast.
Streaming platforms have no control over if something is censored or not, the production decides who gets what. |

Looking forward to seeing this as I loved the original but same with City I feel like this is being on Amazon (and this summer season being stacked) it’s going to slip under the radar.
